Me and my Chuck Taylor

photos by Amin

Knitted Cardigan : Cotton On | Long Sleeveless : Cotton On | Jeans : Uniqlo | Shoe : Converse

Here's a simple outfit I put together. My chuck taylor have served me so well for nearly 3 years now. I am never a sneakers kind of person but I got to say, working at Abercrombie and Fitch back then totally changed my fashion interest! (Funny how a pair of chuck can lead to it huh) Yes, I have an impeccable memories of me and my chuck. From it being bought solely for work and after I left A&F, it braved through the typhoon, autumn and winter in Korea. Now, it has became a casual pair which gives me the best comfort I need.

Hope you guys enjoyed your weekends as much as I did as I get to spent mine with my beloved family. All of them. Alhamdulillah.

Much Love,
Zahra J.

Shawl : c/o of House of Jazaba | Dress : c/o Minaz Boutique | Watch : Marc by Marc Jacobs |
Bracelets : Pandora and Tiffany & Co | Wedge : ASOS

Alhamdulillah! Withinmyhijab is back! It feels so good to be here blogging again. The stress of exams may be away for now but the thoughts of results is definitely haunting me. It was my first university examinations and time was the major factor I had to deal with. Transition from Polytechnic education to University was really challenging. I really hope to pull through this semester, Insya'allah.

My outfit above are from Malaysia's boutique! The shawl is from House of Jazaba (HOJ). HOJ customised outfits and shawls too! The shawl I wore is made of soft chiffon and the lace design enhances the outfit! Apart from that, I love their Raya collections and my sister actually customised her family's peplum kurung from HOJ. HOJ have a in house designer who designs solemnisation outfit too! All under one roof! Plus point for my Malaysian readers. As for my Singaporean readers, fret not, HOJ is in the midst of having a representative in Singapore and that makes postage hassle free! Here's a link to HOJ's FB page.

I won this lovely dress by Minaz Boutique when I joined their instagram giveaway, alhamdulillah. Thank you to all who have helped me liked the picture. The dress was love at first sight as personally, I love colours! The pastel colours on the dress makes the whole look soft and demure. I felt like a princess (hehe!) that day with such a beautiful dress and a lovely bow that compliments the dress. Plus point for the dress is the sleeves which had zips, that makes it easier to have your ablution! I wanna thank Minaz Boutique for the dress and thumbs up!

Holidays are here! Have a great time with your loved ones, lovely readers!

Much Love,
Zahra J.
